These batteries have enough power to run laptops as well as accessories, such as mp3 players, DVD players and USB devices. They are lighter than NiCd and NiMH batteries and have not got any memory defect. If used in the proper way, lithium ion batteries are expected to function for around 3 years, but it is necessary to point out that the three-year period of time begins as soon as batteries are actually produced and not when you start to deploy them.
